Off-loom Beadweaving technqiues, including those I have developed to incorporate SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS with cylinder beads.

What fascinates you about using SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS?
The colors, myriad shapes and uniformity of size.

This is oftern project dependent where a design or project name attracts me to specific colors.

What is your favorite SWAROVSKI ELEMENT?
I designed a series of tennis bracelets using SWAROVSKI Bicones with Chevron Chain and netting techniques.

Four String Wings Bracelet.

Personal information

What are your hobbies?
Although I will try most new hand crafts as they are developed, I always return to beading and sewing. I enjoy traveling with my husband and dog.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Creative, positive and patient.

What would you definitely take with you on a lonely island?
Along with survival necessities, I would take my "Beadin' Buddy" which holds all of my tools and enough beading supplies and materials to keep me busy for a long time. Oh, and my husband and dog too.

What is the first thing at the day you usually do?
After pouring a cup of coffee and scanning my e-mail, I like to jot down any designs that I dreamt about the night before, or I go to the various projects that are on my bead tray.

What is your motto of life?
Creativity has no rules.
