What technique(s) are you particularly focusing on?
Jewelry design and the history of jewelry most interesting to me, as well as creative Jewelry arts using accessible techniques: professional stringing, wire-work, wire wrapping and weaving techniques

Since when have you already been holding workshops?
I have been training students in the jewelry field since 1983. I began incorporating Swarovski elements into my Thread & Wire training programms in 1987 and continue to do so today because of their consistent quality, elegance and variety.

What fascinates you about using SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS?
There are no limits or boundaries to the wonderful selection which keeps constantly growing, providing designers with inspiration as well as consistency and quality.

What is your favorite SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS color?
Current favorite color: Crystal Red Magma All time favorite color: Indicolite

What is your favorite SWAROVSKI ELEMENT?
I have many favorite SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS: I love the Divine Rock Pendant (6191) for the contrast between faceted and matt areas and the 25mm Disk (6039), its great for wire wrapping.

What is your favorite design you have ever created with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS?
The necklace we teach our students to make in the diploma program (3rd module of Thread & Wire certificate - Challenging wire design) since every student loves and wears it proudly. I designed it back in 1996 and it has a timeless elegance.

What are your hobbies?
All kinds of sports, snow skiing, water skiing, horse riding, collecting gems and creating unusual jewelry.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Artist, Gemmologist, life-long Teacher.

What would you definitely take with you on a lonely island?
Mark Wahlberg!!! Failing this my jewelry tool chest. I even take jewelry tools when I go on holiday to Bali.

What is the first thing at the day you usually do?
Most nights I dream of designing jewelry so when I wake I immediately think of the new pieces I want to create. I don't usually start until I have had a good breakfast.

What is your motto of life?
Do what you love and love what you do!
