STEP 1: Using a cutter, cut a 17.5 x 7 cm piece of black leather and a 17.5 x 4.5 cm piece of dark purple leather.
STEP 2: Draw two lines on the inside of the black leather piece with fabric chalk (for measurement see illustration). Glue the dark purple leather onto black piece where you have marked with chalk.
STEP 3: Fold over and glue edges of black leather above purple leather.
STEP 4: Draw lines at 1 cm intervals with fabric chalk (see illustration).
