Step 1: Make the first loop onto knitting needle as shown in the illustrations in this step.

Step 2: Start with taking up loops as shown until you get 12 of them onto one needle. Repeat the process 12 more times to get 12 more loops on the other needle as shown in the illustration.

Step 3: Repeat step 2 twice to get loops on all four knitting needles as shown in the illustration.

Step 4: Knit the first row in right pleated stitch. Take a 5th needle and begin at the first loop and take out the thread from last loop, so that needles build a square and the knitted piece will form a tube. Repeat the step until you have an 11cm long pattern.

Step 5: Finish by closing the loops as shown in the magnifiers and work through the entire tube in a circular motion until you reach the end of the loops. Leave 5 cm of thread and cut the remaining thread off, then pull the thread through the last loop.
