Crown jewels are the symbols of the Danish monarchy. The crown jewels consist of a crown, a scepter (symbol of spiritual authority), the royal apple (symbol of worldly authority), the state sword and the ampulla, from which the oil for anointing kings is poured. The jewels are housed in the castle of Rosenburg in Copenhagen.
