FOR INTERMEDIATE

Step 1: Cut the different fabrics in diagonal shape (selvedge run of thread should go diagonal) to stripes, this is depicted with the diagonal shape of the arrows on different fabric pieces in the illustrations in this step. Cut the fabrics to the sizes mentioned which are Brown (A) 47x4.5cm, Copper (B) 26x4.5cm, Sand (C) 32x4.5cm and Red (D) 40x4.5cm.

Step 2: Fold the fabric piece into half and sew it with a sewing machine 10mm from the edge as shown in the illustration. Cut half of this seam off which should be about 5mm in size. Repeat this step with the other three fabric pieces as well.
